Abstract

The article asserts that the idea behind proactive information security is to build software right the first time by following the strictures of software security and security screening. It indicates that chief security officers (CSOs) know well the importance of being able to discuss their security controls and plans externally as well as internal positioning. The article also defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRI).
