Abstract

The author comments on issues affecting the U.S. stock market in 1926. He believes that the U.S. agricultural states except Iowa made had great business conditions, coupled by diversification of crops, although farmers in Washington state protested inaction of the U.S. government over the abusive agricultural bills. The author comments that the general strike in Great Britain would make U.S. industries become more competitive, especially in the coal industry.
