- The article focuses on the concept of reductionist approach to the syntax of grammar. It discusses unidirectionality and mentions that it is a principle of parsing. It tackles the use of a single semantic representation and Transfer Calculus and notes the proposed analysis on L1 English data as well as the Korean L2 learning
