Abstract

The article focuses on the incidence of macula displacement and distortion symptoms after repair of a rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). It states that patients undergoing primary RRD repair had a postoperative assessment using optical coherence tomography and fundus autofluorescence with the findings examined for correlations with pre-operative features and symptoms. It mentions that the findings found macula displacement is common after RRD repair.
