Abstract
- The article reports that the U.S. Navy signed in summer of 2013 a 6.5 billion, multiyear contract for the delivery of 99 V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with defense contractors Boeing and Bell. It informs that estimates of foreign sales for the V0-22 could reach 100 aircraft over 10 years. The article also mentions that the Bell/Boeing team is pressing forward with plans to expand Osprey's capabilities, which include aerial refueling.
