IDENTIFYING THE IMPACT DYNAMICS OF A SMALL-FARMER DEVELOPMENT SCHEME IN NICARAGUA.

The article discusses the multiyear small -farmer development program in Nicaragua which was presented at an invited paper session at the 2013 annual meeting of the Allied Social Sciences Association. Particular focus is offered for the project called the Rural Business Development (RBD) program started in 2005 which helped improve farm productivity. It examines the local average treatment effect of parameters including farm income, per-capita household consumption and capital investments.
