Abstract
- The article offers information on the doctrine of aboriginal title, a sui generis right in the common law or aboriginal legal systems, which was created by the Supreme Court of Canada under the judicial decision of the court case Delgamuukw v. British Columbia. It informs that the aboriginal title doctrine helps in assessment of competing claims between two or more aboriginal groups, the Crown, or Crown grants.
