Abstract

The article discusses hypokalemia-induced myopathy and creatine kinase elevation as first symptoms of Conn's syndrome. Primary hyperaldosteronism is described by hypersecretion of aldosterone from the adrenal cortex. If the aldosterone-producing pathology is adenoma then the disease is regarded as Conn's syndrome.
