The article presents a study on various cross-section vorticity on the spawning grounds of the four major Chinese carps in the middle reach of the Yangtze River in China. It identifies several characteristics of spawning grounds through hydroacoustics. The study offers a theoretical basis for ecological regulation and spawning grounds restoration.
