Abstract
- In this article the author focuses on a study conducted by researcher S.J. Wilson and colleagues related to the relationship between eosinophilia and airway remodelling in asthmatics. It states that patients with tissue eosinophils phenotype had increased epithelial damage, T cells and eosinophils in airway smooth muscle (ASM). It highlights that tissue eosinophils modify structural airway remodelling in asthmatics.
