Abstract
- The article examines depictions of fashion in 18th-century Swedish print culture. Particular focus is given to the use of prints and engravings in this culture and to how these images spread throughout Europe. Additional topics discussed include the social role of fashion images, 18th-century fashion publications originating from France and images of hairstyles in 18th-century prints.
