Abstract
- The article reports on a study that compared methods used to measure height in 35 older adults, evaluating the wall height and knee height methods as alternative measures of stadiometer height. The study was conducted in the Boston, Massachusetts metropolitan area, data was collected from May 2011 through July 2012, and the research methods included Bland-Altman plots and concordance calculations. The article states the wall- and knee-height measures can be surrogates for a stadiometer.
