Abstract

The article focuses on employee wellness program and issues involving federal laws or the American Disabilities Act (ADA). It discusses the two kinds of wellness plans such as the participatory wellness programs and health-contingent wellness programs. It says that ADA prohibits employers to inquire disability-related questions unless job-related. It suggests that employers may provide rewards or penalties which are below to the levels endorsed by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
