Abstract

The article presents a study which evaluated the quality of primary care and patient safety measures provided at a large corporate chain where practices are owned and operated by a company. The researchers solicited the response of clinical staff, general practice (GP) physicians, managers, administrators and receptionists. They were asked about several issues affecting the chain including the governnance role of the clinical director, leadership structure and staff training.
