Iberian Meetings of Subterranean Biology - regional initiatives towards a global comprehension of subterranean ecosystems (2009-2013).

The article discusses the Iberian Meeting of Subterranean Biology which was held in 2009, 2011, and 2013. It states that the meeting started in 2009 and had included three round-tables on topics about biodiversity and conservation in the Ibero-Macarronesian aspect.
