Clean break with energy consumption.

The article discusses a strategy implemented by technology firm Pasaban, SA for recovering most energy used by sheeters. Pasaban reported that a saving of around 70 percent of the installed capacity for high-torque asynchronous motors can be achieved. It is said that a further application Pasaban utilises in its sheeters to limit the energy use is a system installed in the layboys. Pasaban improved the energy recovery system in both its sheeters and winders.
