Abstract
- The article examines the reaction of helicopter industry firms which operate helicopters for transportation to North Sea drilling platforms of a report by Great Britain's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on their safety practices. Remarks by officials of or official statements by companies including Bristow Group, CHC Helicopter and Bond Offshore Helicopters expressing overall support for proposed new regulations by the CAA are discussed.
