Abstract
- The article discusses research which was conducted to define the technical and tactical profiles of official youth taekwondo competitions played under the most recent rules of the International Taekwondo Federation. Researchers evaluated the fighting styles of 50 taekwondo athletes. They found that tournament winners were more efficient in terms of technical and tactical variables and tended to adopt an offensive fighting strategy.
