Abstract

CuInS<subscript>2</subscript>/In<subscript>2</subscript>S<subscript>3</subscript> heterojunction photovoltaic device was realized in an area of 2.5 x 2 cm² using automated spray pyrolysis machine which shows an open-circuit voltage of 432mV, short circuit current density of 6.33mA/cm², fill factor of 34% and efficiency of 0.94%. Performance of the device was monitored up to 100 days and it was working quite well without the application of any protective coatings. The device maintains a fill factor of around 32% up to 80 days but other photovoltaic parameters had slight decrease. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
