Abstract

The article presents concerns of policymakers on the impact of the U.S.-China relations on the U.S. policy. It states that American legislators adopted tougher measures on issues associated with U.S.-China relations because they are worried about the strong economic growth of China and its influence on the international market. Moreover, another concern of legislators on the rising global reach of China are also mentioned.
