Abstract: The article discusses the future enlargement of the organization North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), as of April 2009. The topics discussed include Macedonia's dispute with Greece, NATO summit in Bucharest, Romania through April 2-4, 2008, and 2008 U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing of on the accession of Albania and Croatia to NATO. Also discussed is recognition of Kosovo's independence by Albania in 2008.
