Abstract
- The article discusses the proposed strategies to design the nuclear fuel cycle. Topics discussed include the five major commercial conversion companies operating in the U.S, Canada and China, the El Baradei Proposal (2003) to limit the processing of weapon-usable material and international uranium-enrichment centers. It presents a chart which explains Multilateral Nuclear Fuel Assurance Proposals of Russian Federation, International Atomic Energy Agency, and Nuclear Threat Initiative.
