Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of the aspirin, blood pressure, cholesterol and smoking (ABCS) clinical measures of the Million Hearts initiative which is aimed at implementing clinical and community-level evidence-based strategies to reduce cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors in the U.S. Topics covered include the increase in the prevalence of cholesterol management, the improvement in blood pressure control and the decline in tobacco product smoking prevalence.
