Abstract
- The article offers the author's interpretations of the literary works of American poet, essayist and cultural theorist Gloria Anzaldúa about human sexuality. Particular focus is given to the views of Anzaldúa about the sexed body in relation to her experience of pain, suffering and shame. The books "This Bridge Called My Back: Writings by Radical Women" and "This Bridge We Call Home: Radical Visions for Transformation" by Anzaldúa are highlighted.
