Correlation analysis of cashmere fibers concerning diameter distribution.

This paper is intended to analyze the correlation of cashmere fiber diameter distribution. Fiber fineness analyzer is used to measure cashmere fiber diameters of three kinds coming from different regions. After putting fiber diameters into categories according to the diameter range, the analysis is conducted to explore the distribution among different fibers using kendall correlation coefficient and euclidean distance analysis. The result indicates that sample 2 and sample 3 have better correlation concerning their diameter distribution than sample 1 and sample 3 ; while on the distribution of fiber range, the diameter distribution is more correlated between sample 1 and sample 3 than that between sample 2 and sample 3. It's verified that two analyzing methods has a guiding significance for the rational regulation of cashmere fiber among different regions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
