Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the effects of fatigue on lower extremity biomechanics and postural control in 14 physically active females with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. The lower extremity biomechanics and postural control of these females were assessed in the surgical limb during single-leg balance and jump-landing tasks. It reveals that fatigue may induce lower extremity biomechanics and postural control deficits that may be associated with ACL injury.
