Abstract
- The article discusses the effectiveness of performance-based logistics (PBL) in defense contracting. Topics covered include the benefits of PBL schemes for both the industry and the government and the reasons that hinder the use of PBL which include the unavailability of professionals to launch PBL initiatives, competing workplace imperatives and competing equities.
