Abstract
- The article reports the claim by Great Britain's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) chief executive officer Martin Wheatley as of mid-June 2014 that regulating high-frequency trading (HFT) is a very difficult job. It claims that HFT activities were highlighted in the book "Flash Boys," by Michael Lewis. The opinion of Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) executive chairman Terry Duffy on the HFT market is also cited.
