Abstract: Information about the general membership meeting of the Association for Social Economics, held on January 5, 1996 in San Francisco, California is presented. The meeting was presided by the association president Thomas Nitsch. Persons elected in 1995 to serve on the Executive Council beginning in 1996 was reported by secretary Edward O'Boyle. Betsy Jane Clary of the College of Charleston reported on the program for the Eighth World Congress of Social Economics in Charleston in summer 1996.
