Abstract

The author reflects on the merger of boundaries of science and art and why students perceive art subjects as interesting compared to science. Topics discussed include the essay "What is Art?" written by Leo Tolstoy in 1896, modern systemisation of chemistry into science which was started in the 17th century by chemist Robert Boyle, and the science of chemistry which allows people to be creative.
