Abstract
- The article discusses a study seeking for profiles of stigma toward schizophrenia in a representative population sample in Brazil. Topics discussed include the grouping of individuals into 4 clusters as the best solution for the sample, the use of a latent profile analysis (LPA) to asses in detail stigma toward schizophrenia and the need to improve the quality of mental health literacy in Brazil and findings on the capability of the LPA technique to discern various patterns of stigma.
