Abstract
- The article focuses on how weather events affect liver fluke infections. It states that rainfall and temperature are related to an increase in the infection in livestock in Great Britain. It mentions that infection of snails is associated with fluke risk in the country. It highlights that metacercarial cysts which carry the infection survive in winter flooding.
