Abstract
- The article focuses on the prices and costs of products and services in Great Britain in 2013 and 2014. It shows that consumer price index (CPI) inflation stood at 1.9% in June 2014, while the cost of imported goods and services declined in 2013. It also reveals that supermarket competition contributed to the decline of food price inflation in June 2014.
