Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 68 year old male patient who was admitted to hospital with symptoms of a persistent fever and erythematous rash. A discussion of diagnostic testing which was conducted on the patient, and resulted in him receiving a diagnosis of hypereosinophilic syndrome, is presented. Aggressive T cell leukemia which developed in the patient after his diagnosis of hypereosinophilic syndrome is discussed.
