Abstract
- The article offers election news briefs. Presidential election took place in Afghanistan to choose successor to outgoing president Hamid Karzai, who has served as the Afghan head of state since 2002. Parliamentary elections were set to be held in Sweden on September 14, 2014. Presidential election took place in Vanuatu on September 2014 as the term of incumbent president Iolu Johnson Abbil came to a close.
