Abstract
- The article presents how the author created the work "Foreign Service" as part the exhibit called "Foreign" put up by an artists' collective group called Fanaan made up of 10 artists of various nationalities. It notes how she told the story behind "Foreign Service" to a couple during the exhibition who later decided to buy "Foreign Service" which reminded them of a nephew who left to fight in Afghanistan.
