Abstract
- The article discusses seasonal and annual mean precipitation extremes experienced in the U.S. in 2013. Topics discussed include the definition of a regional precipitation extreme amid the ongoing climate changes, men and the environment's contribution that lead to the 2013 precipitation extremes and the findings that revealed regions in the U.S. that recorded or near-recorded seasonal or annual precipitation anomalies.
