Abstract: The article presents a case study of successful management of encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis (EPS) by far-infrared therapy in a 45-year-old man on maintenance peritoneal dialysis (PD). His bowel movement improved as well as his nutritional status after three months far-infrared therapy. The article also discusses the prognosis of EPS.
