Abstract
- An essay is presented on Utah's Escalante River Watershed Partnership (ERWP), a river restoration group who works at finding ways to restore the riparian areas in the Escalante watershed. Topics discussed include damage caused on to the riparian areas by overgrazing and invasion by Russian olives, views of Sue Fearon, member ERWP on efforts made to conserve riparian areas and aggression shown by Dell LeFevre, an Escalante Valley rancher against ERWP for restricting grazing on public lands.
