Abstract

The article presents a case study which investigates the cause behind the death of the Intermediate Egret (Egretta intermedia) found in South Korea. Topics discussed include a detailed description of the autopsy conducted on the dead bird, the use of conventional microbiological methods to detect the presence of the pathogen known as Salmonella Typhimurium, and a detailed analysis of the medical findings.
