Abstract: The article discusses the ways on how the global sourcing of home textiles is being managed by the furniture maker and seller IKEA. Topics discussed include the functional home furnishing products offered by the company at low prices, the concept of IKEA to shorten the distance between its suppliers and customers, and the significance given by the company on sustainability.
