INDIVIDUAL ANALYSIS OF CREATINE KINASE CONCENTRATION IN BRAZILIAN ELITE SOCCER PLAYERS.

The article presents a study on the individual profiles of the blood concentration of creatine kinase (CK) in elite soccer players in Brazil. It mentions the tendency for Brazilian Soccer Championship players to be exposed to elevated muscle damage, the role of the CK enzyme as a marker of muscle damage and findings on how the players did not exhibit elevated as well as low magnitude of muscle damage and on the role of muscle adaptation in reduced CK concentration.
