Abstract

Taking into account the specific of the European Union law, which was synthesized by the Court of Justice of the European Union as "an own legal order integrated into the legal systems of the Member States", the aim of this study is to highlight the peculiarities of EU legal order, especially with regard to implementation of European legislation into national law of the Member States. For a full understanding of way in which the EU law is applied into Romanian law, a particular emphasis was given to the actions taken by the Romanian authorities to fulfil the commitments assumed in the Accession Treaty, especially with regard to the transposition and application of Union law. Also, were analysed the constitutional provisions and those contained in the four new codes concerning the application of EU law in the Romanian law. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
