Abstract

The article presents a study that involves epidemiologic investigation of physical activity (PA) and breast cancer risk in Africa. The study discusses that PA levels are traditionally high in Africa among women, due to large amount of housework and agricultural occupations that require heavy labor. Further the study reveals that overall PA was significantly associated with reduced breast cancer risk in both pre- and postmenopausal women.
