Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the potential of glycated haemoglobin A (HbA<subscript>[1c</subscript>) testing (HbA<subscript>1c</subscript>) algorithm) in screening and diagnosis of diabetes in Aboriginal Australian. The cross-sectional study involved 250 Aboriginal Australians aged 15 years or more without confirmed diabetes and due for diabetes testing . Results indicated that HbA<subscript>1c</subscript>testing-based algorithm may simplify diabetes testing in remote areas.
