Abstract

The article discusses research which investigated the effects of a higher Reynolds number and the perforation at a lower Reynolds number on flows past the conic cylinder. Topics discussed include the lack of effect of higher Reynolds number on qualitative variations of the drag and lift coefficients and hydrodynamic parameters resulting from the introduction of perforation.
