Abstract: This article discusses research which examined the random wave computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations for the structural response of seawave slot-cone generator (SSG), a wave energy converter. Topics discussed include the wave energy converter based on the overtopping principle and equations based on results of physical model tests conducted with regular waves.
