- The article presents the biography of arachnologist Ferdinand Karsch-Haack, reprinted from the journal's website. He was born on born on September 2, 1853 in Münster, Germany and later served as Curator at the Zoological Museum of the Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Berlin, Germany. Topics include his essays on sexual diversity of animals; sexual diversity among primitive people; and his views against medicalization of same-sex sexual relation.
