Abstract

An essay is presented on transparency in the conduct of U.S. education in the age of neoliberalism. Topics discussed include increased expectation of public transparency in the administration and governance of higher education in terms of mode of publicity and accountability; transparency of administration to faculty; and transparency in shared-governance of higher education.
