Abstract
- The article offers suggestions for public relations (PR) practitioners to enhance their brand marketing skills to avoid being overtaken by other disciplines. Topics discussed include consumers' judgment of digital content on the basis of its entertainment and informational qualities more than on its provenance, need for PR practitioners to learn about consumer insights, consumer behavior and performance marketing, and role of a campaign in engaging customers directly with the brand.
